Fall 2017

I continue working in my studio space in Bloomfield, CT, focusing on paper works and using other found materials.

January 2017

My most recent show was shared with Sally Foster, a water color artist, in the Seabury Community Gallery.

November 12 and 13, 2016, I have been invited to participate in Open Studio Hartford at 30 Arbor Street in Hartford. View my Artist Profile and come out in support of Hartford area artists. Hope to see you there!

Hartford Open Studio 2015

Moving towards transitioning out of the Arbor Street studio, this year’s Open Studio, for me, was an opportunity to offer works from the past that have occupied the studio over the years. Thanks to all who came out. Your support of my work is as always, much appreciated.

“The Blocks” at Charter Oak Cultural Center

Joy is one of the participating artists in a group show “The Blocks,” where Connecticut
artists respond to Romare Bearden’s seminal work by producing a work representing their
favorite Hartford city block in an art work of
their own. See “Arbor Street with Playground” below. Read the Courant article about the show here.
